It's five o'clock pm, and I don't have a clue what I'm going to cook for supper. Consequently the idea for Quick and Easy Dinner was born from my own frustration in search of dinner ideas that didn't require much planning or forethought. Who has all day to get dinner ready, anyway? I want to serve my family delicious food, but I'm busy, and quite frankly a little lazy when it comes to cooking. In addition to these 'no forethought required' dinner ideas, I wanted to give you many, many recipes for any occasion. These include everything from appetizers, to Mexican food, to barbeque, to desserts.

I am not a chef. I live in rural Texas, with limited available ingredients, but I believe you don't have to serve up fancy ingredients to get delicious real food. Every recipe listed here has been tested by me personally to ensure that it tastes great, is easy (or is worth the time and effort)!
